Senior Software Engineer

‍

This role will require you to show strong technical and leadership skills, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to the team. You will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Product Management and UX to produce the highest quality software possible for our customers. You will:

• Propose Engineering solutions and implement well-designed code to meet requirements
• Drive scalability, performance and operational efficiency across our platform

  Work with customer support teams to resolve customer issues

Skill Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in software design and development, preferably using Java or other languages like Python, or C++.
• Deep understanding and experience of scalability using Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing and related technologies, e.g. Kafka, AWS S3, AWS EC3, Serverless Computing, Redis, DynamoDB
• Strong knowledge of RESTFul Style architecture and related concepts
• Strong knowledge of concurrency and/or parallel concepts
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to debug complex problems
• Demonstrable experience in delivering complex solutions to customers
• Familiarity with agile development and CI/CD

Account Executive

About Bronto: Bronto is redefining observability for the AI Era. We are a radically cost-efficient and high-performance alternative to legacy observability tools. Our platform is designed for high-volume, petabyte-scale data, offering sub-second search and 12 months of "always hot" data retention included by default. We eliminate engineering toil with powerful features like AI Auto-Parsing and natural language dashboard creation. By offering simple, ingestion-based pricing, we help companies save 50-90% on their observability costs while providing long-term data availability.

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Account Executive to join our foundational sales team. This is a critical "net new business" role focused on acquiring and closing new logos. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to navigating complex evaluations and closing deals. The ideal candidate is a hunter, comfortable with a technical, developer-focused sale, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do:

• Drive new logo acquisition through persistent, multi-channel outbound prospecting into accounts from 0-2000 FTEs. 
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Master and execute the Bronto value proposition, clearly articulating our cost efficiency , superior performance , and AI-powered ease of use to technical audiences.
• Rigorously qualify and manage opportunities using MEDDIC and Command of the Message methodologies.
• Conduct compelling discovery calls and product demonstrations for software engineers, developers, and DevOps leaders.
• Navigate complex procurement and security reviews to successfully close new business.
• Accurately forecast your pipeline and consistently meet/exceed quarterly sales quotas.

Who You Are:

• Required: 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of overachievement in a "net new business" or "hunter" role.
• Required: Demonstrable experience in a high-volume outbound sales environment (cold calling, emailing, social selling).
• Formal training and practical experience with sales methodologies like MEDDIC and Command of the Message.
• Nice to have: Experience selling a highly technical product (e.g., observability, database, developer tools, automation platforms like Datadog, MongoDB, or Tines).
• Proven ability to sell to and build champions within technical audiences, including Software Engineers, Developers, and DevOps/SRE teams.
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and building process from the ground up.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

AI Engineer

‍

This role will require you to show strong AI expertise, as well as general software engineering and technical skills to provide leadership in delivering AI solutions as part of our platform. You will work collaboratively within the Engineering team to develop the team’s knowledge of AI and your own technical skills. You will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Product Management and UX to design and produce the highest quality AI solutions possible for our customers.
