Book a demo to see how Bronto can simplify your logging, scale effortlessly, and deliver unmatched value for your organization.
Bronto is building the unified logging layer for the AI era. Our team brings 150+ years of combined domain expertise in logging infrastructure, having built and scaled logging platforms at IBM, Rapid7 and Logentries. This is our fourth time building a logging platform and we're applying everything we've learned about performance, scalability and cost optimization to Bronto.
Bronto provides an HTTP endpoint similar to other observability tools, but deliberately doesn't require a proprietary agent. We support your existing logging infrastructure:Any standard logging agent (Fluentd, Fluent Bit, Vector)OpenTelemetry (OTel) collectorsCloud provider agents (AWS)Existing proprietary agents (can be reconfigured to forward to Bronto)Configuration typically requires just a single line change to redirect logs to our endpoint.
Bronto’s default retention period is 12 months, but we can also offer extended retention at a much more competitive price to the competition. All of your data remains instantly searchable with no need for rehydration needed or S3 archival management.
We’ve also innovated around search, using Bloom filters to deliver sub-second results on terabytes of data, seconds on petabytes. In our experience the faster the search functionality, especially when paired with a long retention period, the more users search logs, resulting in more value for the business.
We run on AWS infrastructure in both the US and Europe regions, with full SOC-2 compliance.
Our pricing model is designed to be easily understood:
- You pay for ingestion only
- 12 months retention is included by default
- We are 50-90% less expensive than traditional observability vendors
- There are no charges for search or compute
We have deep domain expertise and are able to optimize our usage of modern architecture. Features that enable us to keep costs down and pass the savings to our customers include:
- Separation of compute and storage
- Efficient use of object storage
- Optimized indexing (e.g. bloom filters vs. traditional inverted indexes)
- Focus on core logging functionality rather than feature bloat
Yes, Bronto is designed to complement your existing observability stack. We've built our UI to feel familiar to Datadog users, and we provide robust APIs for data export to other systems (e.g. Snowflake) for additional analysis.
No. Bronto handles structured and unstructured logs without requiring upfront cleanup. We provide log hygiene and transformation on ingest, automatic parsing without complex grok patterns, as well as volume control and sampling capabilities
